Accessibility
Last reviewed October 2026.
myMatchDay should work for everyone who plays or organises, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or high contrast settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard that Canadian accessibility laws refer to.
What we do
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, shows where you are with a clear outline, and has a link to skip straight to the main content.
- Text and buttons meet the contrast levels in the guidelines, and nothing is shown by colour alone.
- Pages can be zoomed to 200% or more, and fit a narrow phone screen without scrolling sideways.
- Every form field has a written label, and error messages say what went wrong and how to fix it. Messages after an action are read out by screen readers.
- Animations are short, and switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Organisers can move players between teams with a menu as well as by dragging.
We check every page with automated accessibility tests and by hand, on phones and computers, before changes go live.
Known limits
- Card payments are taken on a form provided by Stripe. Its accessibility is managed by Stripe. If you have trouble paying, contact support and we will help you register another way.
- The downloadable team image is a picture. The same team sheet is always on the game page as text.
